 Torah Fund Vice Presiden

There are several levels at which you can contribute to Torah Fund.  You can become a Benefactors with a $180.00 contribution; you can become a Guardian with a $300.00 contribution to Torah Fund; you can become an Associate Patron with a gift of $600.00, and you can become a Patron with a gift of $1,200.00.  With each of these contributions to Torah Fund, we will gift you with this year's pin.  Did you know that you can join a group of very special women by becoming a yearly contributor of $5,000.00?  For this very generous contribution you join other women in Keter Kavod, Crown of Honor and receive a gift of a 14k gold crown pin to be worn each year, and you receive that year’s Patron pin to wear with it.

Have you ever thought about Estate Planning which will perpetuate your commitment to Judaism into the future?  By contacting the New York office (cabaron@jtsa.edu, 212.578.8027), they will send you a booklet on Estate Planning which will describe various possibilities for you to include your bequest to the Jewish Theological Seminary in your will.  Consider these options to Torah Fund when you make your donation this coming year.  Whatever level you choose to contribute to Torah Fund, we appreciate your donation.

This year there are three area directors who are assigned their own sisterhoods in the Central Great Lakes Region. Below is the listing of the three area directors  and locations of Sisterhoods (to contact, click on your area director's name).  The directors will be contacting your Sisterhood Torah Chairperson in the near future.  Please feel free to call with any questions.

Remember to invite your area director and myself to your Torah Fund Event.  I hope to be able to attend and meet each one of you.  I look forward to seeing all of you some time during the year.  Click below to contact me.   Donna Neubauer, Central Great Lakes Region Torah Fund Vice President

Keter Kavod Pin Crown of Honor

The fourteen-karat-gold pin replicates an eighteenth-century manuscript from the  Rare Book Room of The Library of The Jewish Theological Seminary. It is a gift to those who commit to an annual $5,000 unencumbered contribution to Torah Fund.

Who We Are

Torah Fund of Women's League for Conservative Judaism supports The Jewish Theological Seminary (New York, New York), the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies (University of Judaism, Los Angeles, California), and the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies (Jerusalem).

For more than eighty years, Women's League has been closely linked to The Jewish Theological Seminary, the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, and its affiliated institutions through the Torah Fund Campaign.

The campaign was first launched in 1942 as a scholarship fund. In 1963, it combined with the Mathilde Schechter Residence Hall campaign, which provided housing for undergraduate students. Since then, Torah Fund has been a vital source of support for JTS and its students, raising more than $66 million. Thousands of dedicated volunteers have contributed to the spiritual, aesthetic, and material well-being of the JTS community by supporting Torah Fund projects.
