  About Us

The International Region of Women's League for Conservative Judaism was formed in May, 2008 when the New York State Region, the Canadian Seaway Region, and the Montreal Women's League Sisterhoods joined together to support their common goals.

Its purpose is to help its member groups succeed by providing training, management seminars, general trouble-shooting and problem solving as well as networking for Sisterhood leaders.

Periodic programs seek to instill the religious ideals of Judaism into the lives and homes of its members, emphasizing Jewish ethical teachings as they apply to individual and group life. The Region encourages involvement and participation in contemporary issues on the local, national, and international scene.

An active arm of the worldwide Conservative/Masorti Movement with close ties to The JTSA and the University of Judaism in Los Angeles, we support their programs through the Torah Fund Campaign.

Women's League provides a complete program of involvement for the modern Jewish woman, her family, and her community.

Women's League Public Policy Resolutions Passed at Convention 2010

Throughout the year, and in a variety of forums, Women's League for Conservative Judaism is asked to express the organization's stand on a variety of issues. Women's League is able to craft its positions based on its public policy resolutions. It is in the process of creating Women's League public policy resolutions that your voice, as an affiliated sisterhood, is heard.
