Women’s League provides fabulous training on a variety of topics covering every area of sisterhood business and leadership development.
But Women’s League knows that the great training it offers isn’t always convenient to attend. And that is why we have created Distance Workshops that uses the technology of conference calls and online services to bring our advice, tips & tricks, and first-hand experience directly into your home.
There is no charge but pre-registration is necessary. Participation is limited to members of Women’s League. To register, log on to our website at www.wlcj.org.

Women’s League has inaugurated an on-line discussion group for Judaica shop chairs. Moderated by Chair Jacki Stevens, this is an opportunity to share questions, concerns, and achievements with other gift shop chairs across the continent. Post your questions to: wljudaicashop@googlegroups.com
Please post only questions and information pertinent to Judaica shops. By sharing our knowledge, we will have more efficient and financially successful gift shops for all of us!
Questions? Contact Jacki Stevens at jstevens@wlcj.org.
Regular rosh hodesh groups are nothing new in Women's League sisterhoods. But Women's League has gone a step further and created the first virtual rosh hodesh group, an on-line monthly discussion designed to expand the usual confines of a rosh hodesh group to women throughout the Women's League network. Beginning the month of Cheshvan (October/November), members can study selected texts, ask and answer questions, and share insights on a variety of subjects.
According to forum moderator Barbara Barnett, ritual director of Congregation Beth Shalom in Northbrook, Illinois, the forum will have links to additional study materials and thought-provoking questions for discussion within the forum. Ms. Barnett, who leads a popular rosh hodesh group in the Chicago area, added that there will be several types of topics including those germane to the month's holidays or Torah chapters. Other topics will tie into the Women's League theme for 5770 (2009-2010) of protecting the environment and Women's League's overarching commitment to the study of mitzvot. Any member of Women's League is invited to become part of our virtual rosh hodesh group. Log onto http://wlcjroshchodesh.org.
