Seaboard Region is Well Represented at the Jewel in the Crown Awards!

The Jewel in the Crown Award was introduced to acknowledge those Sisterhoods that have gone that extra step. We applaud those of our sisterhoods that have nurtured and sustained Jewish life and vitality within their local communities for decades! Through a wide range of activities -- those developed and sponsored by Women’s League and original programs and home-grown initiatives  -- we acknowledge our Sisterhoods as the glittering jewels in the crown of our organization. Women's League introduced this award at convention in anticipation that it would be an ongoing tradition:

Women’s League for Conservative Judaism Jewels in the Crown Award

  • Community Service/World Affairs

  • Women’s League Activities/Initiatives
