This website is the result of research, learning, encouragement of many women on the Seaboard Region’s 2008-09 Board of Directors as well as the current one. Major thanks go to Gloria Canter, Past President, and Karen Lipkind, webmaster, who started the process and much gratitude to Marjorie Fuhrmann, our current webmaster, for completing the startup. Marjorie will be updating and maintaining the site for the next year. As Seaboard Region President for the next two years, I hope the website will be visited regularly by our Executive Committee and Board of Directors as well as Sisterhood members throughout the Region. It will be a place to view our region and individual Sisterhood activities and calendars, to get to know where our Sisterhoods are located, to link to other WLCJ sites for educational materials, to read the Medidot, Seaboard Soundings, our Region newsletter, and a lot more. There will be a password protected section for personal information only available for the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Not only will this site be useful for women who are already active in their Sisterhoods, but women who have potential to become members and/or participating members will have everything they need to see why they should be a part of Women’s League.
